Laura specializes in executive and leadership development, team and organizational effectiveness, and strategic alignment of organizations. She has a special interest in expanding the capacity of leaders to build flourishing enterprises and high-performance teams where people thrive in pursuit of bold goals. She’s worked in boardrooms and executive offices around the world, including Washington D.C., New York, Philadelphia, New Orleans, San Diego, Indonesia, Brazil, Argentina, and Australia.

Prior to consulting, Laura had roles ranging from working in the executive office of a Fortune 500 company, to serving as the CEO of a multi-million dollar organization, to COO positions at highly regarded national and global, mission-focused organizations operating in 47 countries. She has extensive experience building and managing complex operations, which requires the ability to develop teams and work across companies and sectors to achieve results.

Laura is a frequent spokesperson, including keynotes for organizations as wide-ranging as Deloitte, to the Australian Institute of Animal Management. Among her awards are New Orleans CityBusiness Woman of the Year; Social Entrepreneur of the Year from Tulane University; ASPCA Presidential Service Award; Best Community/ Environmental Activists; and Top 10 Female Achievers in New Orleans Magazine. In 2015, Laura was honored with a reflecting pool on the campus of the Louisiana SPCA for her commitment to leadership.

She is a former member of the Forbes Coaching Council, current member of the International Coaching Federation, and serves on the board of two global organizations and as an advisor to the board of two other international companies.

In her free time, Laura is a foodie and animal lover who adores the outdoors and staying fit. She loves photography, travel, and hiking with her husband who shares her passion for nature. Laura’s growth edge is the mantra, “Perfect is the enemy of good.”
