Eric Pierce

Consultant, Coach, Facilitator & Trainer

Throughout his 32-year career, Eric Pierce has accumulated an extensive array of educational, professional, and community service experiences that he draws upon to help individuals and teams produce outstanding results.

Eric currently works with CEO, COO, CFO, CTO, and CHRO executives across a wide range of industries—providing executive coaching and designing and implementing people development strategies. In addition, he designs and delivers professional development experiences focused on emotional intelligence, decision making, communication, delegation, feedback, conflict resolution, and other critical management and leadership skills. Over the course of his career, Eric has coached and mentored dozens of leaders and managers. He’s received multiple coaching, mentoring, innovation, and business leadership awards.

Eric began his career as a lawyer, practicing law for eight years and being promoted to partner at his firm. He then joined one of the Big Four accounting and consulting firms, where he consulted with Fortune 500 and middle market companies throughout the U.S. and led and managed several different business units. These included three new business units he started and grew profitably, as well as three under-performing units he restructured and returned to profitable growth.

After 13 years, Eric left the Big Four for a technology startup, serving as Chief Operating Officer and Vice-President of Strategy. In 2012, he joined St. Charles Consulting, where he focused on helping organizations assess the competency and effectiveness of leaders and managers; redesign job roles and expectations; and prepare their people to excel through a combination of coaching, consulting, training, and facilitation.

In recent years, Eric has founded three charitable foundations, two of which fund leading-edge medical research and treatment therapies. His role with both organizations is to define fund-raising, investment, and communication strategies and operational tactics, while coaching individual officers and directors.

Eric lives in the Chicago area with his wife and two adult daughters.
